NSTAR Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy filed with the Massachusetts DPU new basic service electricity rates for its Western Massachusetts service territory (WMA), formerly WMECO, for the period beginning July 1, 2021

All rates below reflect the currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard, Clean Energy Standard, and Clean Peak Standard Adders

The filed new WMECO fixed residential basic service rate for the period July through December 2021 is 9.468¢/kWh, which is about 12% lower than the current rate of 10.708¢/kWh

The filed new WMECO fixed small C&I basic service rate for the period July through December 2021 is 8.936¢/kWh, which is 10% lower than the current rate of 9.980¢/kWh

WMECO rates are below in ¢/kWh, and include currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard, Clean Energy Standard, and Clean Peak Standard Adders
