PSC Denies License Application Of Start-up Retail Supplier

The Michigan PSC has denied the application of Gas Bunny, LLC to operate as an alternative gas supplier (AGS)

Gas Bunny, LLC is a Texas-based start-up

In a news release, the PSC cited, "the company’s lack of responsiveness to MPSC Staff, failure to provide information on its financial standing, and lack of experience serving as an AGS."

In its order, the PSC stated, "As part of its application, Gas Bunny failed to include information to demonstrate compliance with the AGS license requirements outlined in Act 634 and the March 12 order. The Staff set up a meeting with Gas Bunny on March 1, 2021, but the meeting was cancelled at the request of Gas Bunny. The Staff has made several attempts to contact Gas Bunny to reschedule the meeting but has not received a response. In its application, Gas Bunny stated that it is a startup company and that it has not served any gas choice customers. Gas Bunny also failed to provide information showing its financial standing."

As stated in the company's AGS application, Ryan Zaidi serves as President and CEO of Gas Bunny
