The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

PECO has filed with the Pennsylvania PUC proposed new amounts for the bypassable Transmission Service Charge (TSC), which is part of the electricity price to compare

For residential customers (R), PECO proposes to increase the TSC to 0.585 cents per kWh, from the current 0.506 cents per kWh.

That would result in a June 1 Residential (R) PTC of 6.402 cents per kWh, versus the prior indicative June 1 PTC (using the old TSC) of 6.323 cents per kWh, and the current PTC of 6.267 cents per kWh

PECO's filing also includes new non-residential TSCs, which are decreasing on June 1. The tariffed TSCs are billed per kW, which the TSC in the PTC is billed per kWh, and PECO has not yet posted updated official PTCs yet reflecting the new TSCs
