Further details concerning the new "customers" were filed under seal.
Talen Energy Marketing recently transitioned from an Option 1 to an Option 2 REP in Texas. In its initial amendment to become an Option 2 REP, Talen Energy Marketing submitted an affidavit from affiliate Barney Davis, LLC (a generating plant) attesting that Barney Davis had
contracted with Talen for 1 MW or more of capacity of retail service.
It was unclear if such initial Option 2 amendment included any other customers. Talen also owns two other power plants in Texas
As previously reported, Talen recently announced a strategy shift and said that its retail supply business won't pursue new business, but would continue to service and supply its current and future contracts
