Retail Energy Supplier Returns Customers To Default Service

In response to a recent show cause order, Smart One
Energy, LLC informed the New York PSC that, "Smart One previously abandoned its eligibility
application as Smart One is leaving the New York market and
therefore voluntarily forfeiting its approval to operate as an
energy service company in the State."
"Smart One previously
submitted electronic data interchange ('EDI') requests to the
utilities to return its remaining customers to utility service," Smart One
Energy, LLC said in the PSC filing
The PSC in a May show cause order had alleged that Smart One
