Start-up Retail Supplier Led By Energy Market Vets Receives License

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted EcoPlus Power, LLC (EPP), a start-up retail energy supplier, an electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas

As previously reported, Sumit Takkar serves as Chief Executive Officer of EcoPlus Power. Takkar is a decade-plus veteran of the retail energy industry, and has previously held leadership roles at commodity and finance companies which have served retail energy suppliers. Takkar also previously served as a Director at LS Power Group
Travis Tangredi serves as Chief Operating Officer of EcoPlus Power. A 10+ year veteran of the retail energy industry, Tangredi previously served as VP of Business Development for Starion Energy, and has founded two direct marketing companies
EPP's initial focus is serving residential and small commercial customers in deregulated markets in PJM, with a plan to potentially, gradually expand into other markets
EPP will seek a Minority Owned Business Certification in each state it will serve customers
