Texas PUC Reconstituting Stand-Alone Enforcement Division, Names Division Director

The Texas PUC will be reconstituting a stand-alone Enforcement Division, effective August 1
Enforcement activities had previously been transferred to the PUC's Legal division
Barksdale English has been named Division Director of the reconstituted Enforcement Division
English has held several roles at the PUC, including advisor to former Chair Arthur D’Andrea
PUC Executive Director Thomas Gleeson said during today's open meeting that English is the, "right person to reframe what enforcement looks like at the PUC going forward, particularly with his eye on wholesale markets."
