Retail Supplier Acquiring Book Of Customers As Competitor Must Exit Utility Market Due To Non-Renewal Of Competitor's Supplier Agreement With Utility
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Archer Energy is acquiring the retail natural gas customers currently served by Realgy at NIPSCO in Indiana, with the transition effective in August
Realgy said that it will continue to serve customers in Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio without interruption or change
Realgy stated on its website that: "Why is Realgy leaving NIPSCO as a natural gas supplier? NIPSCO decided not to renew our supplier agreement, no other reason. Thereby giving us no choice but to affect a transition."
Archer Energy will serve the acquired customers under the same terms of their existing contracts
