Hampshire Power Corporation, an energy management firm and retail energy supplier, has named John Allario as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Allario most recently served as CFO of Actual Energy, Inc. Previously, Allario was part of the founding team and served as Vice President of Finance for Mint Energy LLC. Allario also previously led the retail natural gas and electric brokerage operations at Patriot Energy Group, and co-managed Sempra Energy Trading’s retail energy supply and finance group.

"I am excited to join Hampshire Power’s experienced team to help bring clean energy products and services to our residential, commercial & industrial, and municipal customers, as well as value to our investors. More than ever, it is essential for retail energy service providers to offer a suite of vertically integrated, value added, products and services that prioritize clean, sustainable, zero-carbon emitting energy options in an easy to understand, low-paperwork manner. Hampshire Power has succeeded in meeting these new challenges for its customers," Allario said.

Hampshire Power also announced success in its recently reported expansion of community solar to New York, including New York City

Hampshire Power stated that it, "services community energy projects from solar to biogas, and continues to support a growing number of CDG [Community Distributed Generation] projects of varying technologies throughout the state [New York]."

Hampshire Power stated, "Hampshire Power has proven success connecting customers to projects under both and now, Remote Crediting programs, enabling the use of 100% commercial and industrial (C&I) customers under the same Value Stack compensation. This equates to more competitive customer acquisition and management fees while ensuring more creditworthy and dependable customers for renewable energy projects."
