PECO's residential electric price to compare will increase on September 1, while the small business electricity PTCs will decrease

PECO has not yet officially posted new prices to compare on its website, but has filed updates to the underlying Generation Supply Adjustments (GSA), which are noted below. PA Power Switch has updated its PTCs for PECO to reflect the new GSAs and the existing bypassable transmission rate

For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's PTC effective September 1, 2021 will be 6.597 cents per kWh, 3% higher than the current PTC of 6.402 cents per kWh.

For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's PTC effective September 1 will be 5.755 cents per kWh, marginally lower than the current PTC of 5.815 cents per kWh

The new PTCs are to be effective September 1, 2021 through November 30, 2021

Underlying Generation Supply Adjustment

The PTC changes result from PECO updating the Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges for the period beginning September 1, 2021

The GSA (labeled generation charge) is the largest component of the Price to Compare (PTC).

For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's GSA effective September 1, 2021 will be $0.06012 per kWh, a 3% increase versus the current rate of $0.05817 per kWh

For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective September 1 will be $0.05306 per kWh, marginally lower than the current rate of $0.05366 per kWh

For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective September 1 will be $0.05215 per kWh, marginally lower than the current rate of $0.05275 per kWh

For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's GSA effective September 1 will be $0.05001 per kWh, marginally lower than the current rate of $0.05063 per kWh

The new GSAs are to be effective September 1, 2021 through November 30, 2021. The rates remain subject to PUC approval
