Texas PUC Staff Files Proposed Cost Allocation To REPs For Low-Income Customer List

Staff of the Texas PUC have proposed the amount of costs to be allocated to each retail electric provider for those REPs who have requested to participate in the matching process to receive a list of their low-income customers for the next fiscal year (fiscal year beginning on September 1, 2021)

In total, the twenty-six REPs requesting the list represent 97.5% of the low-income customers served by REPs that requested the list from the previous year.

The proposed allocation is as follows (Vistra & NRG agreed to pay $20,000 each)
