An auction for certain assets of Liberty Power Holdings, LLC and related debtors ("Liberty"), which are currently engaged in bankruptcy proceedings, has been cancelled

The Sept. 1 auction was only to be held, if necessary, as a result of any further bids by an August 30 bid deadline

As previously reported, a bankruptcy court has already approved the designation of NRG Retail, LLC as the stalking horse bidder for the Liberty assets.

At a sale hearing scheduled for September 10, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. (prevailing Eastern Time), the Liberty Debtors will seek approval of the sale to the stalking horse (NRG) pursuant to the terms of the previously reported purchase agreement.
