Texas TDU Files To End Hurricane Rider Charges To REPs Earlier Than Anticipated

Texas-New Mexico Power Company (TNMP) filed at the Texas PUC a revision to Rider HCRF - Hurricane Cost Recovery Factor in order to conclude collection of Hurricane Harvey restoration recovery costs prior to any over-collection.

Though the Hurricane Cost Recovery Factor approved in Docket 49122 was to last 36 months ending on January 1, 2022, TNMP anticipates full collection of the Hurricane Harvey expenses by the end of October 16, 2021.

TNMP filed to set the amount of Rider HCRF to zero effective October 16, 2021, for all customer classes
