Start-up SmarterChoice Registers As Texas Electric Broker

Start-up SmarterChoice LLC registered with the Public Utility Commission of Texas as a Texas electric broker
Jonathan B Bowman serves as President of SmarterChoice LLC
As previously reported, an individual named Jonathan B Bowman, with the same business address and contact information as SmarterChoice LLC, was identified as President of PowerToSave LLC, a distinct legal entity, which recently submitted a registration as a Texas electric broker. While PowerToSave LLC registered as a broker on Aug. 2, it does not appear on the PUC's list of registered brokers (companies registering on or after such date do appear on the list). As previously noted, the Texas PUC uses the brand "Power to Save" for its energy conservation and education website (powertosavetexas.org) which is a companion to Power To Choose.
As previously reported, an individual named Jonathan B Bowman, with the same address and contact information, also serves as President of MovingIn LLC, which also recently registered as a Texas electric broker
The address for all such companies has been used by a provider of utility billing and other solutions for multifamily and other property owners
