BP Energy Retail Receives Texas REP Certificate

The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted BP Energy Retail LLC an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate

BP Energy Retail did not seek to use any trade names in its Texas REP certificate filing.
In the Texas REP application, BP Energy Retail did not seek authority to have the option of collecting deposits or advance payments from customers
As previously reported, BP Energy Retail said in a recent FERC filing that it will initially provide services in the following markets: Illinois, Ohio, Texas, California, and Pennsylvania
