Regulator Discloses Winning Suppliers, Prices From Default Service Procurements

The Illinois Commerce Commission approved the results of the fall 2021 procurement of block energy supplies for default service at ComEd and Ameren, as well as a capacity procurement at Ameren

For the period June 2022 – May 2023, the IPA procured 356 Zonal Resource Credits (ZRCs) at an average price of $28.92 per MW-day
For the period June 2023 – May 2024, the IPA procured 34 Zonal Resource Credits (ZRCs) at an average price of $35.62 per MW-day
