REC Marketer Will Cease Serving Customers Under State's Clean Energy Add-On Program

3Degrees Group, Inc. informed the Connecticut PURA that it will cease being a Clean Energy Options Program supplier following the 2021 reporting year
The Clean Energy Options program allows utility and other customers to elect a REC supplier without leaving their current LSE (for example, customers may remain on default service under the Program)
3Degrees informed PURA that it has elected not to develop a new REC-only option for the Program that meets the requirements of a recent decision which included various changes to the Program (see story here)
3Degrees will continue to serve its legacy Program customers through the end of the 2021 reporting year
3Degrees will provide notice to all customers informing them that they will be unenrolled from the Program prior to January 1, 2022. A customer's LSE will not change as a result of 3Degrees's Program exit
