The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

Enel Trading North America, LLC ("ETNA"), which as first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com is seeking an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate, has withdrawn its request at the Texas PUC for a temporary good cause exception to the provision of 16 TAC § 25.107(e)(2) requiring a physical office located in Texas.

As previously reported, Enel had originally sought the temporary good cause exception of the Texas office requirement, "due to the extenuating circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic."

ETNA said that it has now executed a lease for its Texas office located in Houston
