Data Center Operator Switch Ltd. Receives Texas Retail Electric Provider Certificate

The Texas PUC granted Switch Ltd., an operator of data center facilities and a provider of related services, an Option 2 Texas retail electric provider certificate
Option 2 REPs are limited to serving customers 1 MW and larger which provide an affidavit agreeing to such service
In its application, Switch stated, "Switch, Ltd. proposes to self-supply its electricity needs as an Option II REP," and Switch did not at this time provide affidavits to serve any non-affiliate customers
