Retail Supplier Affiliate Announces Net-Zero Carbon Electrical Resiliency Microgrids Using Renewable Natural Gas
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Enchanted Rock, a provider of electrical resiliency microgrids and whose affiliates hold REP certificates under various Options in Texas, announced today that its customers now have the option to choose Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) to achieve net-zero or negative carbon emissions.
Integrating RNG into its offering, Enchanted Rock will provide customers with onsite gas engine microgrids with the
option to contract for managed power resiliency using
directed biomethane to help achieve zero or negative
carbon equivalent in their Scope 1, and Scope 2 emissions
protocols.
All RNG that Enchanted Rock sources will be produced by capturing methane from landfills or food
and agricultural waste, and then injected into a pipeline like conventional natural gas.
