Texas PUC Defers Consideration Of TDU-Run Interim Winter C&I Load Management Programs

During today's open meeting, the Texas PUC deferred until its December 2nd meeting action on proposals from the TDUs in ERCOT to establish and operate load management programs for nonresidential customers during the period of December 1, 2021 through February 28, 2022
Among other things, Commissioners were concerned with whether all programs would allow REPs to participate in the program
Commissioners were also concerned with costs, and suggested revised cost caps, and expressed concern with the interaction and impact of the program with ERCOT's ERS program
