The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) released a third-party audit report finding that no costs for stadium naming rights have been charged to customers of FirstEnergy’s three Ohio electric distribution utilities.
The audit examined accounting records for Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, Ohio Edison, Toledo Edison, and FirstEnergy Corp. and confirmed no payments were booked to accounts held by FirstEnergy’s three Ohio’s utilities, and thus, no costs have been passed on to utility customers.
