Nstar (Eversource Energy) has filed basic service electric rates with the Massachusetts DPU for its Eastern MA service area for the period beginning January 1, 2022

All rates in this story include the existing Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard, Clean Energy Standard Adders, and Clean Peak Standard Adders. As such, the rates below will change when any new adders are approved.

For Nstar East residential customers, the fixed January 1, 2022 to June 31, 2022 basic service rate as filed is 15.735¢/kWh, which is 46% higher than the current rate of 10.753¢/kWh

For Nstar small C&I customers, the fixed January 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 basic service rate as filed is 14.732¢/kWh, which is 50% higher than the current rate of 9.850¢/kWh
