ERCOT Issues Reliability Analysis For Generating Unit Seeking To Be Mothballed

ERCOT has completed its reliability analysis for the City of Garland's unit OLINGR_OLING_1
On November 4, 2021, ERCOT received the Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource: City of Garland - OLINGR_OLING_1
The NSO indicated that the Resource will suspend operations indefinitely as of April 5, 2022 but will remain operational through the upcoming winter months.
Pursuant to the ERCOT Protocols Sections 3.14.1.2 (3), ERCOT has completed its reliability analysis and has determined that this Generation Resource is not required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability and may suspend operations according to the schedule in the NSO.
