Secretary Of New York PSC Denies Requested Extension Of Waiver Allowing Continued Sale Of ESCO Green Gas Products, Saying Request Will Be Determined By Commission

The Secretary of the New York PSC denied a request from the Retail Energy Supply Association directed to the Secretary for an extension of the January 25, 2022 expiration date of the waiver which allows ESCOs to continue to provide green natural gas products to certain mass market customers without being subject to the otherwise applicable pricing limitations
"Your waiver request will not be granted by me. Instead, it will be directed to the Commission. The Commission has the authority to consider such a request," the Secretary stated
As previously reported, Family Energy has already filed a petition directed at the Commission for an extension of the limited, one-year waiver
