Texas Tech University System Selects Energy Consultant/Broker For Advisory & Procurement Services

Tradition Energy announced that it was recently awarded an Energy Advisory and Procurement Services contract through a competitive process conducted by the Texas Tech University System (TTU System), headquartered in Lubbock, Texas.
Contracted services are related to the procurement of electricity and natural gas for the TTU System’s component institutions and assisting the TTU System on its entry into the ERCOT competitive market, as a result of the Lubbock Power & Light transition to ERCOT
Tradition said that it will advise the university system on its transition to the deregulated market, as Tradition said, "the transition by LP&L [into ERCOT] puts the TTU System on a positive path forward by opening the door to retail electric competition."
