Former Retail Supplier President Joins ComparePower As COO

Retail energy shopping platform and online marketplace ComparePower announced the hiring of Brent Moore as Chief Operating Officer
Moore, the former President of Just Energy’s North American retail business, is an industry veteran who, in 2003, founded Save On Energy, one of the original online energy comparison marketplaces. After building the company from conception, Moore sold Save On Energy to a global media company in 2012.
Moore said that ComparePower is, "aggressively investing in multiple growth areas and have significant expansion plans to reach even more Texans."
"We’re ready to accelerate our reach plans and we’re hiring the best talent in our industry. We are going to make this tool available to a much larger residential and commercial audience," Moore said
Moore and ComparePower Founder and CEO Brad Gregory both said that they were both appalled with "the game" energy providers play, "in signing up customers for overpriced plans," and have created a place for consumers to shop on their own terms, with no hassles and no pressure.
"We are resetting the rules of the marketplace to make it more transparent than it has ever been," Gregory said.
ComparePower said that it has more than 47,000 positive reviews and 4 million users
