The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. (Duke Energy Ohio or the Company), will hold a virtual technical conference regarding the customer information system conversion at issue which has prompted Duke to seek waiver of certain Public Utilities Commission of Ohio rules in order to suspend certain services provided to, or applicable to, retail energy suppliers during a CIS cut-over
As previously reported, Duke is seeking waivers to, among other things, permit it to suspend supplier enrollments for over two weeks, and to suspend the ability for retail suppliers to submit new rates for 12 days
See our prior story for a full discussion of the services impacted by the cut-over and Duke's request
The conference will take place via video conference on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. local time
Duke Energy Ohio will be collecting question submissions in advance of the conference in order to maximize the productivity of discussions. Questions should be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022 to a specific email address listed in Duke's January 26 notice to stakeholders in Case No. 22-0043-GE-WVR
