Prosumer-Focused Retail Supplier Seeks Texas Retail Electric Provider Certificate

David Energy Supply (Texas) LLC has filed a new application for an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate
As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, David Energy had applied for a Texas REP certificate last year, but later withdrew the application without prejudice to re-filing at a later date.
In its Texas application, David Energy applied for the option of collecting deposits or advance payments from customers
Patty Nosal recently joined David Energy as Director Of Operations. Nosal previously held several operations/sales support, pricing, and billing manager positions at NextEra Energy Services, Direct Energy, and Constellation, and has over 20 years experience in the competitive energy business and 30 years of experience in energy supply.
As previously reported, David Energy emphasizes a prosumer business model and last year announced the close of $19 million in new financing and the hiring of several additional retail market veterans (see details here)

In addition to fixed, index, and fixed energy/float capacity products, David Energy offers a "shared savings plan"
