New Retail Supplier Led By Energy Market Vet Receives License

The Maine PUC granted Maven Energy, LLC a license to operate as a competitive electricity provider furnishing supplier services to the medium and large non-residential customer classes in the service territories of Central Maine Power and Versant Power (both Versant areas)

Andrew Fitzgerald serves as founder and CEO of Maven Energy, LLC
Fitzgerald previously held several director-level positions at retail supplier First Point Power, including Director of Operations. Fitzgerald was the first employee at First Point Power and grew the business over 10 years
Maven Energy's website states that it offers power, renewable energy, and energy solutions with, "data-driven renewable solutions at competitive prices."
Maven's website further states that it offers integrated energy solutions and, "harmoniz[es] retail energy supply, wholesale markets, and modern grid infrastructure."
Maven Energy, LLC has also received a Massachusetts electric supplier license (though as of the filing of its Maine application last month, Maven had not yet started operations in Massachusetts)
