Start-up Texas Retail Provider Seeks Authority To Begin Collecting Deposits

IronHorse Power Services, LLC, which received its initial Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate last year, applied for an amendment to its Texas REP certificate to, among other things, include authority for collecting deposits

Specifically, under the amendment, IronHorse would have the option of collecting customer deposits or residential advance payments, and the company said that it, "plans to begin collecting deposits." (as opposed to advance payments)
