Rhythm Energy announced the offering of a new residential electricity plan in Texas which bundles a "comprehensive home security system" from SimpliSafe with the plan

The plan includes a complimentary 7-piece SimpliSafe home security system (valued at $449), which includes a base station, keypad, 2 entry sensors, a motion sensor, a glass break sensor, and a SimpliCam HD Security camera, plus two free months of professional monitoring. Monitoring after the free period costs either $17.99 or $27.99, depending on the SimpliSafe plan chosen

In the Oncor service area, Rhythm's Simply Secure 24 plan is a 24-month fixed rate, 100% renewable plan with an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh, of 17.8 cents per kWh, which reflects an Energy Charge of 13.538¢ per kWh and Oncor Delivery Charges of 3.891¢ per kWh and $3.42 per month

A termination fee will be assessed if the contract is canceled after the first thirty (30) days in the amount of $10 (ten dollars) for each whole month remaining in the contract term. A Device Cost Recovery Fee in the amount of $249 will be assessed if the contract is cancelled more than thirty (30) days after the start of the contract but before the contract end date.
