The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted Axpo U.S. LLC an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate

Axpo U.S. LLC is the U.S. based subsidiary of Axpo Solutions AG

In the U.S., Axpo supplies and trades power at wholesale, including participating in various default service auctions. Axpo also sources supply for large non-residential customers in partnership with RPD Energy, in which Axpo has an ownership stake

Internationally, Axpo is active in serving retail customers in various European markets

In its initial Texas application, Axpo had stated, "We do not currently plan to serve residential load, instead our focus will be on serving the needs of C&I customers within Texas."

In its Texas application, Axpo did not apply for the option of collecting deposits or advance payments from customers
