Building Systems Holdings, LLC (BSH) has acquired all of the issued and outstanding equity interests of retail energy broker and consultant Provident Energy Consulting LLC

Building Systems Holdings, LLC is part of Legence (f/k/a Therma Holdings), a Blackstone portfolio company that serves as an end-to-end provider of energy and sustainability solutions and services. Legence is a specialty mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls services company focused on designing, building, and servicing complex systems in mission-critical facilities and other high-performance buildings

"With the acquisition of Provident Energy Consulting, a leading provider of energy procurement/energy budgeting services and infrastructure improvement projects, Provident will continue to support the existing supply side commodity services business while also leveraging capabilities in the execution of demand side energy management. This combined expertise will further expand Legence’s ability to offer Energy-as-a-Service and asset ownership, allowing them to better assist customers to manage overall energy spend while lowering their carbon footprint," Legence said

Joseph S. Solomon, the previous owner of Provident, will continue to be involved in Provident's operations as a consultant
