Update: Texas PUC To Open Review Of Rates Applicable To POLR Service

As part of a "discussion" rulemaking calendar, Texas PUC Staff filed a tentative date for a proposal for publication for Project No. 53820: "Review of rates applicable to POLR service."

The Staff calendar lists a projected date of August 25 for a proposal for publication

Although not explicit in Staff's discussion calendar, the August 25 date is the date of a Commission open meeting. Accordingly, though not explicitly addressed in Staff's calendar, based on prior working of the calendar and process with respect to other rulemakings, it is expected a proposal for publication would be filed ahead of August 25, and would first be considered by the Commission on August 25.

The calendar notes that, "The dates provided are Staff's current projections and are subject to change at the discretion of Staff or direction of the Commission."

Nothing substantive has yet been filed in Project No. 53820
