New York ESCO Seeks Extension Of Deadline To Comply With Denial Of Green Gas Waiver While Rehearing Pending

Family Energy sought an extension of the deadlines under the New York PSC's order denying several ESCOs' petition for waivers to allow the ESCOs to offer green natural gas products without being subject to the otherwise applicable price limits in the mass market

The order denying the green gas waivers (story here) required ESCOs to, within 120 days, make their green gas products compliant with the mass market price limits (requiring a new authorization from customers), or to return such customers to default service

Family Energy sought an extension of such deadline until 90 days after a PSC order on a forthcoming rehearing petition from Family.

Family committed to timely filing its rehearing petition on or before August 15, 2022
