Reliant Energy Retail Services LLC (RERS) filed a request at the Texas PUC to be designated a voluntary retail electric provider (VREP, aka volunteer POLR) for the residential and small commercial classes up to a number of ESI IDs in certain service areas filed confidentially, for the 2023-2024 Provider of Last Resort term

As previously reported, TXU is the only other REP thus far to seek VREP status in a public filing
