Update On Expected Date For Proposal On Changes To Texas POLR Pricing Rules
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
As part of a "discussion" rulemaking calendar, Texas PUC Staff filed an updated tentative date for a proposal for publication for Project No. 53820: "Review of rates applicable to POLR service."
The latest Staff discussion calendar lists a projected date of September 15 for a proposal for publication. An earlier Staff discussion calendar from July had listed a projected date for the PFP as August 25
Although not explicit in Staff's discussion calendars, the stated dates are those of the Commission open meetings. Accordingly, though not explicitly addressed in Staff's calendar, based on the prior working of the calendar and process with respect to other rulemakings, it is expected a proposal for publication would be filed ahead of any stated dates, for consideration at the open meeting on such date
Additionally, the latest Staff discussion calendar now includes a date for a projected proposal for adoption for the POLR rulemaking: November 3. The July discussion calendar hadn't specifically included a projected PFA date (though the July calendar did not extend beyond October 6)
The calendar notes that, "The dates provided are Staff' s current projections and are subject to change at the discretion of Staff or direction of the Commission."
Nothing substantive has yet been filed in Project No. 53820
