New York ESCO Renews Request For Extension Of Green Gas Compliance Deadlines
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Family Energy has renewed a request for the New York PSC to extend the deadline for ESCOs offering legacy mass market green gas products to either (1) modify the products such that they comply with the pricing limits applicable to mass market products, or (2) return mass market green gas customers to default service
As previously reported, the Secretary of the New York PSC recently denied an extension request filed by Family Energy as "unnecessary and premature", in part because Family had not yet filed a petition for rehearing.
With Family having now filed a petition for rehearing and stay, Family Energy has again sought an extension of the deadlines to permit the rehearing and stay request to be adjudicated

ESCOs had been given 120 days from the PSC's July 15 green gas order to comply with the green gas directive
Family Energy sought an extension of such deadline until 90 days after a PSC order on Family's petition for rehearing
Cases 12-M-0476, 15-M-0127, 98-M-1343
