Leader Of Retail Supplier Named To Expanded Role By Parent

As part of a series of executive changes, Greg Hall, currently executive vice president – Energy Supply at AEP, has been named to an expanded role as executive vice president and chief commercial officer, with responsibility for AEP’s competitive retail business, competitive wholesale business, distributed energy assets organization, regulated commercial operations and grid solutions organizations.
"Greg and his team have been delivering custom energy solutions in the competitive space, including renewable and distributed generation, while our grid solutions team has been focused on developing critical infrastructure innovations and clean energy projects to benefit customers served by our regulated operating companies. Aligning these organizations under Greg will help us better leverage the experience and expertise across the company to advance new customer solutions and expand our energy offerings in all the states where we operate," said Julie Sloat, current AEP CFO and President, who will transition to CEO on January 1, 2023
Hall's prior responsibilities as executive vice president – Energy Supply at AEP, included overseeing AEP’s competitive business, including serving residential, small business, larger commercial/industrial and wholesale customers
Previously, Hall served as president of AEP Energy Partners
Hall has served in various marketing, commercial, and other roles at AEP since 1997
