SB Energy Global, LLC announced that Google will purchase approximately seventy-five percent (942 MW) of the energy produced by four of its solar projects under development in Texas.

The projects total 1.2 gigawatts (GW) of capacity and consist of the Orion 1-3 and Eiffel solar projects in Texas. The projects are expected to be operational by mid-2024.

The power purchase agreement supports the energy needs of Google's company's data center in Midlothian, Texas and cloud region in Dallas.

The agreement is Google's largest combined clean energy transaction in Texas to date.
