NSTAR Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy filed with the Massachusetts DPU new basic service electricity rates for its Western Massachusetts service territory (WMA), formerly WMECO, for the period beginning January 1, 2023

All prices below include Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard, Clean Energy Standard, and Clean Peak Standard adders

The filed new WMECO fixed residential basic service rate for the period January through June 2023 is 21.864¢/kWh, which is about 42% higher than the current rate of 15.348¢/kWh

The filed new WMECO fixed small C&I basic service rate for the period January through June 2023 is 22.388¢/kWh, which is about 49% higher than the current rate of 14.978¢/kWh
