Best Bid Energy, LLC applied for an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate

While the current Best Bid Energy, LLC has been organized for nearly 10 years (though designated "inactive" for a period, per Texas Secretary of State records), any REP activities would be on a start-up basis.

Javier Vega serves as Manager of the current Best Bid Energy, LLC

Vega previously founded and served as CEO of Amigo Energy. Vega also previously led retail electric provider Mission Power, and served as Executive Vice President at Acclaim Energy.

Best Bid Energy sought to use the trade name Mission Power. Mission Power was formerly a d/b/a of 10K Energy, which relinquished its certificate in 2014

Best Bid Energy applied for the option of collecting deposits or advance payments from customers

Vega most recently was COO and then President - Retail at RPower LLC. As previously reported, RPower, a resiliency services provider, initially registered as a broker, then sought and received a REP certificate, but then relinquished the certificate and re-registered as a broker.

A former entity was also organized as Best Bid Energy, LLC in 2005 ("2005 Best Bid Energy"), with Amigo Power serving as the 2005 Best Bid Energy's managing member. The 2005 Best Bid Energy forfeited existence in 2007
