Texas-based Broker Acquires New York-Based Energy Consultant

CSD Energy Advisors, a Texas-based energy management solutions provider, announced that it has further expanded into the national retail energy market with the acquisition of New York-based Novo Energy Services, a broker, energy consulting, and advisory firm operating out of New York City, Cape Cod, Maine and Houston, Texas.
"The acquisition solidifies CSD’s continued commitment to growth in the competitive energy space," CSD said
The acquisition represents an opportunity to further establish CSD outside of Texas and continue to build market share across the country, said Andrew Barth, partner and co-founder of CSD Energy Advisors
Novo Energy Services' offerings include efficiency upgrades, strategic procurement, renewable development, onsite generation and demand reduction. The company manages 1,400,000 MWh of electricity and 1,000,000,000 dekatherms of natural gas.
