Retail Supplier Ceasing Service To Customers In State, Will Drop Remaining Customers To Default Service If Customers Do Not Switch

SouthStar Energy Services LLC d/b/a Maryland Energy informed the Maryland PSC that SouthStar is ceasing to provide service in
Maryland effective June 1, 2023.
SouthStar currently has customers in the
Washington Gas Light territory in Maryland and is providing notice to those customers that it will be ceasing service to them
To the extent the customer does not select an alternative supplier, SouthStar will drop any remaining customers at WGL in Maryland to default service
