Duke Energy Ohio has filed new rates for bypassable Riders RE (retail energy) and RC (retail capacity)

For the summer period (June 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023), the RS residential combined Duke RE & RC rate will be 10.2190 cents per kWh, or 57% higher than the current combined "winter" rate of 6.4832 cents per kWh which is applicable for the first 1,000 kWh of usage.

The rates above are not the all-in price to compare. Certain other riders, including AER and SCR, are bypassable
