One BGE POR Discount Rate To More Than Triple

Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed with the Maryland PSC new purchase of receivables (POR) discount rates.

Baltimore Gas & Electric's new electric POR discount rates, to be effective June 1, 2023, are as follows:

        Current Discount      6/1/23 Discount
Residential      0.7129%      0.6591%
Type I           0.0000%      0.0000%
Type II          0.0000%      0.0000%
Hourly           0.0000%      0.0000%

For natural gas, BGE filed for the new residential discount rate to be set at 0.8225%, or more than triple the current discount of 0.2238%

BGE's new natural gas POR discount rates are as follows, to be effective June 1, 2023:

                  Current Discount   6/1/23 Discount
Residential (Sch. D)       0.2238%    0.8225%
General Service (Sch. C)   0.0000%    0.0000%

For all applicable customer classes, the 0% discount rates reflect a "zero-ing out" of a negative discount rate which resulted from the POR discount calculation, consistent with PSC policy.

The new POR discount rates remain subject to PSC approval.
