The following story is brought free of charge to readers by VertexOne, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The New York PSC has issued an order to show cause to Light Power & Gas of NY LLC ("Light Power") directing that the ESCO show cause why its eligibility to act as an ESCO in New York State should not be revoked or, alternatively, why other consequences as set forth in the Commission’s UBP should not be imposed, for the ESCO's alleged failure to file a 2023 annual compliance filing
In the show cause order, the PSC alleged that Department of Public Service Staff sent emails to Light Power & Gas of NY LLC concerning the requirement, and, "attempted to call Light Power on February 8, 2023, but was unable to leave a message due to the phone number being inactive."
The PSC also alleged that Light Power & Gas of NY LLC failed to respond to a Notice of Apparent Violation (NOAV) concerning the matter.
