Mitsubishi Retail Energy Suppliers Withdraw Supplier Licenses

Various Diamond Energy retail energy supplier entities have voluntarily relinquished their retail electric supplier licenses (or equivalent) in several states
Mitsubishi Corporation is the ultimate parent of the Diamond Energy retail electric supplier entities
In each instance, the Diamond Energy retail supplier stated that it had not commenced operations and had never served retail customers
In Texas, Diamond Energy TX, LLC filed to relinquish its Option 1 Texas REP certificate
"Diamond Energy TX, LLC no longer intends to commence operations as a REP. Diamond Energy TX, LLC has not begun operations and has no customers," Diamond Energy TX, LLC said in the filing
In Ohio, Diamond Energy East, LLC filed to relinquish its electric supplier license
Diamond Energy East, LLC, as well as entity Diamond Retail Energy, LLC, each filed to relinquish its respective FERC market-based rate authority
Diamond Energy's website, diamondenergy.com, also does not appear to be operational at this time
Diamond Energy is licensed as a supplier in several other jurisdictions, including but not limited to Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, and, based on public filings to date, has not yet filed to relinquish its certificates in such jurisdictions.
