Start-up Retail Supplier Files ESCO Registration In New York

Ameripro Energy Corp., a start-up, filed a registration as a New York ESCO
Ameripro Energy Corp. is affiliated with South Bay Energy Corp.
Ameripro Energy Corp. indicated that it would serve all customer classes. For residential and small non-residential customers, Ameripro Energy Corp. will offer a compliant renewable product that is 50 percentage points
greater than the RES LSE Obligation for the year
According to a FERC filing from earlier this year, Greg Blume and Stephen Mellis both hold the title of President of Ameripro Energy Corp., and Mr.
Blume and Mr. Mellis each own 50% of Ameripro Energy. Mr. Blume supervises sales and marketing,
while Mr. Mellis supervises finance and administration operations
Mr. Blume and Mr. Mellis
each hold 50% ownership interest in South Bay Energy Corp.
As previously noted, Ameripro has indicated it will enter PJM markets as well
